Q1: Explain why you are interested in a fast food environment with varying shifts and closing responsibilities.

Q2: Tell me about a time when you had to motivate your staff to meet a certain goal? What skills did you use?
A: At a previous restaurant job, I managed the kitchen staff. A travel bus stopped unexpectedly and we had to hustle to get the orders out quickly and accurately. I motivated the staff by reminding them that we are a team and we work together to get the job done.

Q3: Discuss a time when you had to discipline an employee.
A: I had to explain to a young employee who was chronically late that her tardiness put others in a difficult position as they often stayed to cover for her absence until she arrived. When she realized the effects of the action on others she regarded as her friends, she improved and became a better employee.
